The future of Nevada lies with our youth. To honor Dan Leach and his lifelong commitment to this principle, the Memorial Fund provides less fortunate children with positive, fulfilling community-based and academic-based endeavors currently beyond their reach due to financial barriers.

Grant Qualifications and Applications
We believe that no child who has a desire to participate in a youth activity should be denied the ability to do so because of his or her financial circumstances. The Dan Leach Memorial Fund provides the necessary funds to help children of all ages join their peers in youth activities.
Learn More About Our Various Fundraising Events
The Dan Leach Memorial Fund holds three major fundraising events each year...the largest event is our Annual Golf Tournament, held each Fall at the beautiful Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
We also also host a Runnin' Rebels Basketball Game & Tailgate Party each Spring at the Thomas & Mack Center, followed by a Night at the Las Vegas 51's Baseball Game at Cashman Field.
Proceeds from these three fundraising events, from the purchase of Dan Leach Memorial Fund t-shirts and hats, and funds collected from the raffles and silent auctions incorporated within these events go directly to support children who wish to participate in youth activities, but for financial reasons, would not otherwise be able to do so.

A gentleman and positive optimist, Dan Leach was an avid member of the Boulder City community since 1983. He knew no stranger and was the absolute epitome of an extrovert. Dan was as much a community coach as a loving cheerleader with the philosophy that all children should have someone cheering for them.
